Our Story

Having moved to France just in time to beat the Brexit deadline at the end of 2020, we spent 3 months staying in a Gite before the sale on Domaine Bardon completed. Elodie continued to work in fashion retail and Don carried on running his alcohol distribution company while our children settled into their new school and way of life. (1hr 30mins breaks at lunch time and no school on Wednesdays)

We moved into Domaine Bardon during February 2021 and jumped into taking over the existing Gite business. Our first guests arrived in March 2021.

Now 4 seasons in we look back at our previous life in East Dulwich, London and know we will never go back. Elodie is now an estate agent and Don keeps himself busy with a variety of projects. We love it here and have found the perfect place to bring up our children.
